Overtricks are important in duplicate bridge but so is making our contract. On this hand we have to decide whether to play safe by ducking the first round of clubs or are we going to try and win every trick we possibly can.
In duplicate bridge your opponents are the ones holding the same cards as you. They're the ones you need to beat.
